We stayed at the Hampton Inn (which was expensive enough to only do once a year) but really enjoyed its comfy beds and breakfast in the morning.
We left Boise at 6 a.m. and drove to Logan to get there in time for Lunch with the Friends. We let the kids play at the park and then we all went to a small zoo just off the park featuring many birds and other animals you would find in Utah.
McKay playing soccer with one of his new found friends at the picnic.
That night we had one of our friend's relatives babysit most of the kids and we adults went out and ate at a fancy restaurant (another once a year places) called the Coppermill in Logan. We ate good food and said our goodbyes till the next 5-10 years when we will most likely get together again.
On Sunday driving home, we thought we would drive and see the waterfalls in Twin Falls, Idaho and search for the Temple newly being built. We enjoyed the waterfalls but unfortunately could not find the Temple.
