We have really enjoyed our Summer and have tried to stay busy. Each day we plan something to do. We have been going to parks near our home that have a water areas, we take walks, the kids go outside daily to play in our kiddy pool in our backyard, and they play with neighborhood friends every day.
Here we are at Jared and Michelle's getting ready to go swimming. McKay and I had fun but Erica did not like the pool, she likes shallow water that she can run around in and sit in, so Kory ended up babysitting her while McKay and I and Jared's family had fun in the pool.
McKay loves swimming.
One day we put together a ramp for the kids to ride their scooters over that goes from the new garage addition to the back porch. McKay and his friends loved it and played on it all the time. Then Kory put a door in where the ramp was and someone put a small dent in it and the scooter ramp was destroyed and they were told by Kory not to do it again. Fun is over.
We rarely have people from So. Utah come through Boise to see us except Mom and Dad, but we had some old friends stop by on their way home from a trip to Oregon stay with us one night. McKay had a great time playing with their children and it was great visiting with our old friends we have not seen for some time. Now we know that we can fit 5 aduts and 6 children in our home. We had a great time.
I was taking pictures of the kids outside (refer to the last picture) and turned around and found Erica sitting (or laying) on the chair like this. She was half way on and half way off. She is always cuddling with her favorite blanket and likes to climb our highest chairs all the time. I have never seen her do both at the same time. Had to take a picture. She stayed there for quite awhile too before I got her down.
