Precious Children

Our sweet Kason is now a food eater. He loves to eat table food and baby food of all kinds, even green beans.

Kason has a special love for McKay. Whenever he sees him he starts making noises and wiggling all around and getting all excited. I think McKay makes him laugh the most.

Erica's friends. Each Wednesday these girls get together and have fun for their playgroup.

Pumpkin Time

We went to Linder Farms to get our pumpkins this year. We rode a hay tractor that took us to different areas to pick out pumpkins. Then the kids went through a small barrel maze. We had fun but it was cold and windy.

Halloween

We had a fun Halloween this year. As always, we went across the street to the park where we handed out candy in our lawn chairs to all the kids. After that round of candy getting, McKay and Erica went door to door around the neighborhood. This year I went instead of Kory and he took the baby next door to our neighbor who was having a football party.

The baby is wearing a doggie outfit that all of our kids have worn when they were babies.

Kory's Birthday and Yard is done

Kory had a birthday and is getting older. He turned 32 on Sept. 7.

Make a wish. The most exciting thing to the kids on birthdays is blowing out the candles.

Our baby is growing up and is so cute. He just turned 5 months. He now rolls from his back to his tummy but then gets stuck. He has also learned a new trick from his big sister, how to scream. He now instead of making cute coo noises, likes to squeal and scream - and he is loud. He is very wiggly and loves to eat baby cereal and anything else he can get his hands on.

Well we did it, the yard is finally done. Kory worked really hard and we have really enjoyed the appearance of our yard now, and so do our neighbors. Here are some pictures of what it looks like. I was going to put before and after pictures but that would take too long. You can look back at our previous blog postings and see the dirt we have had for a long time. Anyway, this is our new sand pit. The kids love it but it is extremely messy.

Our back yard. Kory put a sidewalk that spans all the way around our house so the kids can ride their bikes around our house in a circle. Kory also built me a new raised garden for strawberries and raspberries for next year.

The side of our house. New bark, plants, and sidewalk.

The other side of our house. As you can see we are not quite done yet. Kory needs to finish pouring some concrete and then it will be done also.

Our beautiful fountain. Everyone loves it, including us. These rocks came from So. Utah.

New landscaping.

House from the street view.

Our big planter. Used to be a big mound of dirt. Much better now.

Next planter in front of our house. Used to be just a mound of dirt too. It will be exciting to watch the plants and trees get bigger over many years. Good job Kory. I had my doubts during this whole project, but it ended up beautiful.

Catching Up

Got behind on our blog again so here are a mixture of pictures of the events that have happened the last 2 months.

Kory and I celebrated our 10-year anniversary and this is a picture we took that day to give to Kory so he could take us to work with him and look at us as he is working. Just a little sentimental gift.

We blessed our baby Kason the end of June.

After the blessing we had a family get together at our home to feed everyone before they made the long trip back home.

Got you Jared.

Eating after the blessing. Some of Kory's family came up from So. Utah and Salt Lake area. We were so happy they could make the long trip up and be with us on this special day.

Happy to be getting blessed by his daddy.

McKay turned 6 years old the end of June. We had a fun birthday party with all his friends. Here they are opening presents.
At the birthday party we had a kiddie pool for everyone to cool off in.

I attempted to make McKay's birthday cake. It actually turned out really well and was very yummy.

We also rented a jumphouse and slide for McKay's Birthday party. The kids had a lot of fun and it entertained everyone during the whole party. Easy on us parents except the setting up and taking down of the jumphouse. It was very heavy, ask Kory. He said "never again."

This jump house was huge and barely fit in our yard.

McKay graduated from Kindergarten the first part of June and is ready for 1st grade. Here he is saying goodbye to his kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Rojas.

Our cute little graduate. Getting so big.
