Mother's Day and Pictures of the Family

McKay and Kory surprised me with a Mother's Day gift of new tupperware. I think the best thing about Mother's Day was that I was able to make a really nice dinner for my family for the first time after Kason was born. It felt good to be able to do that again.

My tupperware towers.

Our baby is already growing up fast. He is starting to get chubby around his cheeks and arms. He looks a lot like McKay except the darker hair like Erica's. As you notice by the picture, he does have one of his eyes that the eyelid does not open as wide as the other. The pediatrician did not seem too concerned about it and said that he might grown out of it and we would just have to watch it over time. He is such a cutie anyway.

McKay and Erica love Kason! They are always concerned about him and want to be with him all the time. Erica will wake up in the morning asking where he is. She also gets very excited when he is awake and tries to comfort him when he cries and lets me know what is wrong with him when he is crying, usually she will say that he is hungry and I need to feed him right away.

Here are some pictures I found of the family when Grandma and Grandpa were helping us when we had Kason. I think McKay took a lot of the pictures.

Baby Kason Born

We had our 3rd baby April 30 at 12:52 a.m. His name is Kason Luke Hall (same initials as his dad). He was 6 pounds 15 ounces, 20 inches long, brown hair, very cute. Everything went well with the delivery. We are home now trying to get use to him and trying to sleep. The kids are adjusting pretty well. We are very glad to have Grandma and Grandpa Adams here to help us out. Here are some of the pictures we took of him.

McKay's Fun Run

Last Saturday McKay's school district had a fun run where the kids and whoever else wants to join in and they run a mile. McKay and his daddy ran and walked it and had a fun time. Here are some pictures of this fun event.

Easter and Sidewalks

This year for Easter we went to our association's Easter Egg Hunt at the park across our street. The kids had a lot of fun and got a pretty good amount of candy.

On Sunday (Easter), we had the kids gather eggs in our backyard for some more candy.

Even Kory gathered some and ate the candy inside.

On the day of the Easter Egg Hunt (Saturday), Kory and some of the Priest Quorum came over to help him pour some concrete for a new sidewall that attaches our back porch and wraps around the side of our house and hooks up to the front of our house. One of our many projects finally completed. Yea!!!!!

Working hard in the yard

Kory has been working hard lately with our yard. We are getting ready to put in a sidewalk on the side and back yard and a fountain in the front.

The hole where our fountain will be.

Kory rented a cool trailer to pick up road base and gravel and to get rid of some of the dirt we had piling up in our yard.

Kory and our home teacher went out with the trailer to get more rocks for our yard.

Erica's 2-year-old Birthday

Erica turned 2 on January 16. Erica visited the doctor that morning for her Wellness checkup and then I took the kids to the Boondocks for some fun on slides and climbing. That night we opened presents and had cupcakes.

Erica and McKay got a slide. We are keeping it indoors until the Spring when it is warmer outside.

To make room for the new baby, we also got Erica a new bed. No more crib for her. It was a hard transition but she is now sleeping well in it and loves it.

Christmas

Cute Erica.

Here are our Christmas pictures. Sometimes we think we should just give Erica a box for Christmas, she seems to love it more than toys.

Happy Kory.

What a mess.

We loved having Mom and Dad with us for Christmas this year.

My gift from Kory, a KitchenAide mixer.

Playing with presents.

Thanks Mike and Melissa for the baby crib. Erica got lots of baby stuff for Christmas.

McKay got lots of hands on stuff like K'nex, Legos, puzzles, coloring stuff.

We got the gift of snow for Christmas also. We liked driving around and sliding everywhere and going with McKay across the street to the park to sled. I thought Kory looked cute in his snow gear.

We decided to give out sugar cookies to our friends and neighbors for Christmas. With Mom's huge help, we make I think 200 cookies.

After the cookie making.

Even the kids helped make the cookies.

Erica one day decided to get out my silicone bread pans and tried to sit in them and walk in them and here she is using it as a pillow.

Our beautiful snow we got for weeks around Christmas.
