New Home, We Are Moving!!!!!

Yes, if you haven't heard, we finally bought a house. We are moving on May 19 to our new home. It is 2203 sqft, 5 bedrooms, 0.19 acre, 2 1/2 bath. We got a great deal on it and it has already appreciated in value $20,000. We have a lot of landscaping work to do with it and Mom and Dad are coming up to help us paint. A few of the rooms are painted yucky. As time goes on we are going to upgrade some stuff in the house. We are really excited to move to our new home in a great neighborhood. We are just minutes now from Jared and Michelle which is also exciting. Here are some pictures of it:

When you walk through the front door on your left is an office with glass doors, a closet, and arched celing. The windows look out to the front yard and park that is across the street. On the right are the stairs to go upstairs and a little hallway to the family, eating, and kitchen. That is our realtor in the room with me.

Here is our living room.

One side of the backyard.

Kitchen and eating area.

Built in desk in the eating area.

Other side of the backyard.

A hallway from the kitchen leading to a half bath and laundry room and garage.

The garage is a tandem garage. If you don't know what that is the first part of the garage is for 2 cars and then there is a large area in the back for the next car. Technically it is a 3 car garage but we will use the back part for Kory's special space (i.e., motorcycle, storage, work bench, etc.)

The tandem area of the garage.

Upstairs 2 rooms, McKay and Erica.

Erica's room.

McKay's blue room.

Master bedroom.

4th bedroom, we call the bonus room. It is a large room that we are not exactly sure what we are going to do with. Mom and Dad's room.

Main bathroom upstairs.

Top of the main bathroom.

Master bathroom walk-in closet.

Jet tub and shower on the dark side.

Vanity in master bathroom.

Kitchen sink and window that looks out to the backyard.

Pantry and where are refrigerator is going to go.

Laundry room.

On the side of the garage is what they call a dog run and a garden box.

Back of the house with a covered porch.

Nice vinyl fence.

Front of the house. We have a large front yard.

Easter and SLC Pictures

These are of course behind. Have had trouble with the blog again and putting the pictures on it.

Kory was able to take some pictures of Erica smiling. She is about 3 months here.

We had an Easter Celebration at the church this year. They made us a pancake breakfast and had an egg hunt afterwards. McKay had a lot of fun. Unfortunately almost everything he got was chocholate (which he does not like) and coins. He got over $1 in coins but he still doesn't understand what money is. The money is now sitting in a cup being guarded by a fake blue caterpiller.

Hunting for eggs.

McKay playing with his best friend, Shawn. They play together at least once a week.

Kory's sister came over from Scotland with her two girls to visit. She was going to try and come up to Boise but did not have time. So Kory met her halfway in SLC. He took McKay with him and I stayed home with Erica and my work. It was a quick one day, one night trip. Here are some pictures from that trip.

Not sure where he is in this picture.

They went to temple square and the visitor center.

The kids playing in the fountain, don't fall in!!!!

This is the younger of Kory's sister's daughter. We have never met her before. She is about McKay's age.

The old tabernacle.

I guess this is a display of Jerusalem A.D. 33.

This is the oldest daugher with McKay. Beautiful pictures in the background.

Trip Pictures

McKay loves to play with his Farm Set he got for Christmas from Grandma.

McKay helping Grandpa mow the lawn. I remember when we were younger and we would always ride with Dad on the lawnmower also. It was always really fun. I remember being on one side and Charles on the other.

We went four-wheeling with Leif, Jon, and Jason. We had a great time.

I was really nervous going on the four-wheeler by myself. Luckily Jon went with me and helped me out. We still got stuck quite a few times in the sand.

Leif and Jason

McKay had a great time. Everytime I looked back at him he was full of smiles with total trust in his father to keep him safe while they rode.

The great views we saw.

Just before we left. Julie got to watch the baby while we went.

Some of McKay's friends he played with when we were back home, Craig and Nathan.

My best friend Heather and her family. They blessed their daughter the same day and place that we did.

Some of our old friends from back home we love to get together with when we go back home. Kory is in the middle holding Erica.

Kory was put to work to pay for our stay at Mom and Dad's. Here he is digging dirt to get ready for some curb to go in.

The family get together.

The boys had a lot of fun together playing and running around.

Here we are after the blessing.

Mom sewed Erica's blessing dress.

Some close ups of Erica. Ouch, she scratched her face.

This is a picture of when she turned 2 month's old.
