Thanksgiving and Christmas

Kory leaving to go camping with the scouts in the rain.

McKay's parade of cars, trucks, and trains.

Here is our first snowfall. It melted pretty fast but McKay got to go and run around in it for a little while.

Thanksgiving time. Kory's parents and sister came up from Southern Utah to enjoy Thanksgiving with us. It worked out well but a lot of work for Sharese since she hasn't made Thanksgiving dinner for a long time. We always go to someone else's house. It was really great to have them come up and spend time with us.

Pumpkins, Halloween, and Cement

McKay hanging out with his two friends Austin and Jacob.

McKay's preschool had a field trip to a pumpkin farm. They had a lot of fun. Here they are running through a straw maze.

On a hay ride around the pumpkin farm.

There were pumpkins everywhere.

McKay's preschool class.

McKay got to choose his own pumpkin.

Kory got to work on another project last Saturday. He poured cement outside our two garage doors. Dad was there to supervise.

The cement looked really well after Kory was done. He spent all day doing it and ended up very sick that day and the next with the flu.

Our early and probably only Christmas present arrived. We needed a new printer very badly.

Halloween time. McKay dressed up as a horse and Erica a puppy. They had a halloween parade at the park where the parents sat in chairs and handed out candy to all the kids as they walked around the park. There were hundreds of them and the candy went fast. Afterwards McKay and Kory went around the neighborhood for more trick-or-treating while I handed out candy to the 50 or so kids that came to the house. McKay ended up bringing home about half of what we gave out at the park and at home.

A big picture of the halloween parade as it was ending.

New Door, Birthday, and Grandma and Grandpa Visit

What is Kory doing!!!!!!????????

Ta, Da!!!! We decided to put another door coming from our garage to the back yard. It was really funny when Kory started cutting the door one of our neighbors came outside and yelled, "What are you doing!!!?????" It was a strange site to see someone sawing into your house. It was a success though. I will show another picture after we get the door painted this next week and get it finished up.

Grandma and Grandpa came up to visit. Here we are just relaxing as a big happy family.

Jared, Courtney, and Tyler came over to visit the day of my birthday.

Tyler DID NOT want his picture taken. This is the best we could get without holding him down.

Me blowing out my candles on my Marie Callendar Banana Cream Pie, YUMMMM. I turned 28.

Family Fun

McKay and his baby Macole.

It is hard to get Erica to smile and stay that way until I take the picture so this picture is priceless to me. Cute baby.

I caught these guys playing with McKay's tools all in a circle together. Also priceless.

McKay's preschool took a fieldtrip to the zoo. It was awful. It rained the whole time, sometimes just a sprinkle and sometimes pretty hard. We all were very wet and cold. We ended the fieldtrip early because the rain never let up.

Chase playing on the slide that is at the zoo.

McKay loves to push Erica in her stroller. He did this late at night when Kory was working in the garage. I was working in the house and just happened to look out the window and saw him taking her on a walk. It was really cute and had to take a picture.

Erica is growing up fast. She now pulls herself up to a standing position when holding onto things. We have caught her doing this in her crib, with chairs and tables, with the stair railing, the first step on the stairs, etc. She wabbles after some time of standing and usually falls down to the ground but she is learning fast and does it all the time. In this picture we actually put her up holding onto the couch. She has not quite gotten this far yet, but she will at least stay there for awhile.

Birthday and Preschool

Visiting at Jared and Michelle's house.

Erica loves to clap when she is happy and excited.

Just Relaxing.

During Labor Day we bought some trees for 1/2 off. We had a good time digging holes and planting them. Kory did this along with McKay helping and I spent the day in the garage detail cleaning the vehicles. We labored hard that day.

Messy baby.

Cute McKay.

Erica now likes to climb things. She will climb on us, boxes, and toys. I was eating an ice cream and she decided she wanted it. She was reaching and climbing on me, we thought it was really funny.

McKay started preschool last week. He loves it. This was his first day.

Here he is at preschool.

McKay's preschool classroom. Chase is also in his class. He is hard to see in this picture but is on the table right next to the girl with the hat on her head.

Kory turned the big 30 last Friday. We dropped the kids off at a friend's house and spent some much needed time together. We played minature golf and ate a good lunch at AppleBee's. That night we sang a Happy Birthday Song and ate a banana cream pie. We gave Kory a shirt for work and he bought himself 2 ladders.

Erica loves to eat food that is more like we eat and is really good at picking it up and putting it in her mouth.

Dinner time.

Hello friends and family. Nothing new has been going on around here. Erica is growing up fast. She can now sit up by herself and crawls everywhere and gets into everything. It is actually really fun to watch her. She is also clapping and thinks it is great. Michelle bought her a bouncer which Erica loves and is really good at bouncing all around. McKay is starting preschool in 2 weeks. I think he is excited, I don't think he really knows what to expect or what it is all about, but I think he will really do well. We have been swimming at Jared and Michelle's house this last week due to school almost starting and the weather getting cooler, got to get our swimming in before it is too late. Yesterday the water was 80 degrees, brrrrrrr. It was chilly getting in but we all did it and had a good time, it wasn't too bad once we got used to it. Kory and McKay left yesterday (Friday night) to go camping with our Ward's unofficial campout. I had to work so us girls got the night to ourselves. It wasn't as fun as I thought it would be, too quiet.
